An example apparatus includes at least one memory, instructions in the apparatus, and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to detect regions of interest corresponding to a product promotion of an input digital leaflet, extract textual features from the product promotion by applying an optical character recognition (OCR) algorithm to the product promotion and associating output text data with corresponding ones of the regions of interest, determine a search attribute corresponding to the product promotion, generate a first dataset of candidate products corresponding to the product in the product promotion by comparing the search attribute against a second dataset of products, and select a product from the first dataset of candidate products to associate with the product promotion, the product selected based on a match determination.

Abstract: Access to a physical device associated with a computing system can be shared with multiple virtual machines by delegating control of the physical device to a primary virtual machine (PVM). In some aspects, a virtual machine monitor (VMM) of the computing system can generate a hardware description that describes the physical device. The VMM can initiate the PVM, which can use the hardware description to acquire control of the physical device from a host kernel of the computing system. The VMM can delegate control of the physical device from the host kernel to the PVM. After control of the physical device is delegated to the PVM, the PVM is configured to perform a device sharing process to share access to the physical device with the SVM.

Abstract: A kernel of an operating system executing on a computing device is notified that the kernel is to provide network packets received by the kernel via a network interface to an eBPF program executing in an eBPF environment of the kernel. The eBPF program receives, from the kernel, a camera network packet originating from a camera. The eBPF program causes information derived from the camera network packet to be copied to an image buffer of a display device driver for presentation on a display device.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to categorize image text. An example apparatus includes region detection model training circuitry to identify candidate regions in an input image that include text, and generate bounding boxes around respective ones of the identified candidate regions. The example apparatus also includes mask application circuitry to improve optical character recognition (OCR) by applying a mask to the input image, wherein the mask removes content of the input image except for portions of the input image within the bounding boxes, and OCR circuitry to perform OCR on the masked input image to obtain text data within the bounding boxes.

Abstract: Kernels can be securely booted while having customizable command line functionality. For example, a boot loader can initiate a kernel boot using a unified kernel image (UKI) that is cryptographically signed with a cryptographic signature and includes two or more command lines that are protected by the cryptographic signature. The two or more command lines can implement different functionalities with respect to the kernel boot. The boot loader can extract the two or more command lines from the signed UKI. A command line of the two or more command lines can be selected by a user to complete the kernel boot. Once the command line is selected, the boot loader can execute the command line to complete the kernel boot using the command line.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a system ensuring the integrity of received data. The system includes a processor, a trusted platform module, and a memory storing instructions. Upon a request from the processor, the trusted platform module generates an asymmetric key pair including a private key and a public key. The trusted platform module provides the public key and an encrypted private key to the processor. The processor generates a checksum of received content data and sends the checksum to the trusted platform module. The processor also loads the encrypted private key into the trusted platform module. The trusted platform module decrypts the encrypted private key, encrypts the checksum with the private key, and provides the encrypted checksum to the processor. The processor sends the content data together with the encrypted checksum to an external device. The external device may decrypt the encrypted checksum with the public key.
