  • Publication number: 20250042182
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a method (34) for controlling a drying procedure of a printed product and an industrial printing machine (10). The printed product is manufactured by the industrial printing machine (10). An image to be printed is split into several image cells. For each image cell a total amount of ink to be used and an average lightness value of the ink to be printed within the respective image cell are determined. For each image cell a cell-dependent amount of infrared radiation to be applied for drying the ink to be used within the respective image cell is determined based on the total amount of ink to be used and the average lightness value determined in view of the respective image cell. A mixture of the drying procedure to be applied for drying the ink to be used within the image to be printed is determined based at least on the cell-dependent amounts of infrared radiation to be applied and a moving speed of the printed product.

  • Publication number: 20250004820
Abstract: A component of an edge server, including: processor circuitry; and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by the processor circuitry, cause the processor circuitry to: distribute, to a client device, tokens that enable its end device to execute respective asynchronous adaptive motion primitives (A2MPs) of a task graph of a task, wherein an A2MP is a motion primitive of encoded motion factoring in motion updates from the end device; receive A2MP task execution status messages during execution of the A2MPs; and dynamically update the distribution of the token or the task graph based on the A2MP task execution status messages to modify a trajectory of the end device.

  • Publication number: 20240314529
Abstract: The subject matter described herein presents various technical solutions for the technical problems facing autonomous vehicles (e.g., fully autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles). To address technical problems facing wireless communication cost and latency, a heterogeneous roadside infrastructure can be used to improve the ability for a vehicle to communicate with a data source. To address technical problems facing interruption of vehicle services due to an abrupt loss of connection, a quality of service system provides the ability to determine and share quality of service information, such as location-based information, maps, interference data, and other quality of service information. To address technical problems facing high volume data upload and download between autonomous vehicles and cloud-based data services, optical wireless communication (OWC) provides increased data throughput and reduced complexity and may be beneficial for short-range high-mobility wireless communications.

  • Publication number: 20240314290
Abstract: Example systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods to model volumetric representations of objects in scenes are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein are to form a set of polycells from image data of a scene, a first one of the polycells based on an intersection of (a) a first polytope representative of at least a portion of a first view frustrum corresponding to a first camera, and (b) a second polytope representative of at least a portion of a second view frustrum corresponding to a second camera. Disclosed example apparatus is also to determine a probability that the first one of the polycells is at least partially within an object in the scene, and based on comparison of the probability to a threshold, remove the first one of the polycells from the set of polycells to determine an updated set of polycells that model the object.
