  • Publication number: 20240081024
Abstract: A system and a method for refrigeration and thermal conditioning of a body having a first circuit for refrigeration of the body and a second circuit for thermal conditioning of the body. The first circuit has a first reservoir for storage of a cold liquid coolant component and a first pump for pumping the cold coolant component from the first reservoir to a portion of the body, and for returning the cold coolant component to the first reservoir. The second circuit has a second reservoir for storage of a hot liquid coolant component and a second pump for pumping the hot coolant component from the second reservoir to the portion of the body, and for returning the hot coolant component to the second reservoir once the coolant has been applied, for a given time, to the portion of the body.

  • Publication number: 20230268051
Abstract: A system and methods for artificially intelligent medical procedure assessment and intervention are provided. A system may acquire image data from a camera targeting a location where healthcare is administered. The system may receive sensor data from a sensor attached to a care provider during performance of a procedure. The system may generate gesture features based on the sensor data. The system may generate image features based on the image data. The system may determine, based on the image features and a machine learning model, a step identifier for a step in a multi-step surgical procedure. The system may access text descriptive of an instruction to perform the step. The system may display the text on a display accessible to the care provider. The system may determine, based on the gesture information and a second machine learning model, a performance metric that measures performance of the care provider.

  • Publication number: 20170230082
Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering energy on a bus used for communication between devices are provided. Systems and methods dynamically provide a predetermined recovery time between communication messages calculated from forward and response message types and/or length, and a model of the energy reserve in the network devices to allow time for energy storage circuits in the devices to charge. In addition or alternatively, systems and methods provide an extra recovery time between messages to allow the bus voltage to recover from a fold-back mode and/or include an extra current limit circuit to increase a power supply current when the combined energy required by the network devices is greater than a current limit on a power supply.

  • Patent number: 9037918
Abstract: Systems for helping identify faults on a bus, as well as to determine the topology of a bus network, are disclosed. A system according to one embodiment includes a bus interface for connecting to a bus and a switch coupled to the bus interface, the switch configured to alternate between an open state and a closed state. The system is connected to the bus via the bus interface when the switch is in the closed state, and the system is disconnected from the bus via the bus interface when the switch is in the open state.

  • Publication number: 20140285182
Abstract: The invention provides a handheld digital voltmeter approximately the size and shape of a ballpoint pen. When its tip is placed on a live electrical wire, the Accu Volt Meter digitally displays a voltage reading on a small LCD screen and audibly states the voltage reading through an incorporated data to voice software program and a tiny incorporated speaker.

  • Publication number: 20030146225
Abstract: A spill protection device for containers of liquids includes a main body member (a) and a covering wall (1) having an opening (2). Extending downwardly from the covering wall (1) is a housing (3) which engages the rim (21) of the application container (b). The main body (a) includes a spillway (7) and a removal grip (12). When the protection device is applied, its housing (3) protects the rim (21) which is covered by the covering wall (1). The possible accidental spills or drips occur on the main body (a) of the protection device, without affecting the rims (21) of the container (b) which are protected within the housing (3) and by the covering wall (1).
