    Abstract: Users select images from different web sites to be combined with text and templates to generate a document. A document composition application allows a user to create a document having selected images incorporated therein. The document composition application may provide templates that a user can select from and use to generate a document. The resultant document may then be purchased over the Internet, printed and delivered. Low resolution images may be used when the user selects and customizes an image to be incorporated into the document for faster processing. High resolution images may be used to create a print-quality document that is printed or transmitted to the user. A web basket service is also provided that allows a user to select images from different web sites.
