  • Patent number: 11917802
Abstract: Thermoplastic compounds in the form of a pellet include thermoplastic resin and conductive fibers. The conductive fibers are enveloped by the thermoplastic resin and distributed within the pellet such that each of at least a portion of the conductive fibers is substantially surrounded by the thermoplastic resin and thereby substantially separated from physical contact with any other of the conductive fibers. Additionally, at least a portion of the conductive fibers includes long fibers. The thermoplastic compound, when molded at a thickness of about 3.2 mm, has an electromagnetic shielding effectiveness across a range of frequencies from about 0.5 GHz to about 2.0 GHz of at least about 60 dB according to ASTM D4935, which makes the thermoplastic compound useful for molding thermoplastic articles for shielding against electromagnetic interference.

  • Publication number: 20230290056
Abstract: Systems and methods for fine adjustment of computerized roof models are provided. The system generates a 3D roof structure model based on at least one image obtained from an aerial imagery database. Alternatively, the system could retrieve at least one stored 3D roof structure model from a 3D roof structure model database. The system weighs (e.g., scores) each 3D roof structure model candidate and determines an optimal 3D roof structure model by applying a variable neighborhood search to a 3D roof structure model candidate having a highest confidence score among the weighed 3D roof structure model candidates.

  • Publication number: 20220104712
Abstract: An imaging examination analysis method includes receiving a patient data set for a patient including measurements for a set of variables relating to a chronic medical condition, such as aortic stenosis (AS), obtained by an imaging examination of the patient. For one or more future time intervals, a likelihood is generated of a predetermined grade of the chronic medical condition (e.g. likelihood of severe AS grade) for the patient at the future time interval. The likelihood is generated using a classifier trained on training data sets for past patients. A follow-up imaging examination date recommendation is determined based on the likelihoods. An inconsistent measurement for the patient may be identified as a measurement whose value compared with a prior measurement for the same variable is consistent with an improvement in the chronic medical condition of the patient between the time of the prior measurement and a present time.
