  • Patent number: 10502180
Abstract: Wind turbine blade having at least one longitudinal hollow element that defines an aerodynamic outer surface and an inner cavity having an inner surface. The blade also comprises at least one spar (1), disposed in the inner cavity and bonded to the inner surface by at least two bonding surfaces (13) located on bonding surfaces (2) of the spar (1). The spar (1) comprises, on at least one bonding zone (2), at least three fibre fabric layers (3) and at least one central core (4) and at least one lateral core (5) disposed between the at least three fibre fabric layers (3). This makes it possible to increase the resistance to shear stresses in the adhesive bond of the spar (1) to the inner surface of the longitudinal hollow element and decrease the required amount of adhesive.

  • Patent number: 10288042
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wind turbine rotor balancing method which compensates imbalances between the centers of gravity of the wind turbine blades, in both magnitude and position along said blades, so that the amount of mass needed to carry out this balancing method is minimized, while reducing the loads and vibrations associated with a position of the center of gravity of the rotor not aligned with the axis of rotation thereof, wherein the invention further relates to the wind turbine rotor balancing system and the wind turbine balanced with the above method.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 29, 2017
Date of Patent: May 14, 2019
    Assignee: ACCIONA WINDPOWER, S.A.
Inventors: Javier Sanz Corretge, Unai San Miguel Alzorriz, Fernando Echeverria Dura, Alvaro Gorostidi Martinez de Lecea, Teresa Arlaban Gabeiras, Jose Miguel Garcia Sayes, Miguel Nunez Polo
  • Patent number: 10267054
Abstract: It allows simplificating the assembling of a wind turbine (1). The dowels (4) comprise: a) an upper surface (5); b) a lower surface (6); c) an inner side surface (7); d) an outer side surface (8); e) at least an intermediate fixing surface (12), located in one of the outer (8) or inner (7) side surfaces, between the upper (5) and lower (6) surfaces; and f) at least a first grooved housing (13) made in that of the side surfaces (7, 8) comprising the intermediate fixing surface (12), where the first grooved housing (13) communicates the intermediate fixing surface (12) with one of the upper (5) and lower (6) surfaces and is configured to accommodate joining cables (23).
