  • Publication number: 20060020079
Abstract: The invention comprises aqueous dispersions of copolymers of acrylic and/or methacrylic esters for laminating plastic films onto other printed or unprinted media, with improved technical properties, and particularly better immediate adhesion and better embossing resistance. Said dispersions lie within a concentration range of between 30% and 75% in water, and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the copolymer is between ?40° C. and +25° C. Said copolymers are obtained by the technique of polymerisation by free radicals in aqueous emulsion of the (a), (b), (c) and (d) monomers disclosed in the invention.
