Abstract: A method of determining a time for executing a command on a device of a plurality of devices is disclosed. In an embodiment, the method includes requesting a host computing system for network time and retrieving via the host computing system the network time. The method further includes determining a device time of each of the plurality of devices. The method further includes determining a true offset between the network time and the device time of each of the plurality of devices, such that the true offset is determined iteratively based on a predetermined offset threshold range (POTR). The method further includes determining the time for executing the command based on the true offset between the network time and the device time of each of the plurality of devices.
