  • Patent number: 12262456
Abstract: A method and apparatus for an indoor horticultural system that utilizes a wired network to control lighting. The wired interface is used to relay both analog and digital intensity control information, whereby an analog signal is used to control the intensity of all LED arrays in each lighting fixture during a first mode of operation and a digital signal is used to control the intensity of each individual LED array in each lighting fixture in a second mode of operation. Both the analog and digital signals utilize the same physical interface.

  • Patent number: 11268673
Abstract: A method and apparatus for an adaptable vehicle light fixture is provided to activate directional illumination aspects of the light fixture based upon sensed characteristics of the vehicle. The vehicle may automatically sense its position, speed, acceleration, heading and angular velocity and may command the light fixture to emit symmetric and/or asymmetric beam patterns based upon the sensed vehicle characteristics. Directional light incident upon the light fixture may also be detected to allow intensity control thereby reducing glare to oncoming traffic. A vehicle light fixture may be pre-configured with lenses and wirelessly programmed for manual and/or automatic operation that is responsive to the pre-configuration. A plurality of vehicles with light fixtures mounted thereon comprise a network of light fixtures that are manually or adaptively controlled as a group.

  • Patent number: 5831679
Abstract: Signal processors for permitting the transparent, simultaneous transmission and reception of a volume of information in the video bandwidth is disclosed. The volume of data is selected in response to receiving a signal at a transmitter site. The signal processor in the transmitter rasterizes the volume of information at the horizontal scanning rate and modulates the volume of information with a data carrier at a non-integral multiple of the horizontal scanning rate to provide a frequency interleaved combined signal. The combined signal is transmitted during the active video portion of each video line.

  • Patent number: 5666168
Abstract: The instant application is directed to a cable facsimile machine which implements the upper vestigial chrominance sideband of a standard video signal for data transmission.Signal processors for permitting the transparent, simultaneous transmission and reception of a data signal in the video bandwidth is disclosed. The signal processor in the transmitter rasterizes the data at the horizontal scanning rate and modulates the data with a data carrier at a non-integral multiple of the horizontal scanning rate to obtain frequency interleaving. The data is transmitted during the active video portion of each video line.

  • Patent number: 5572247
Abstract: Signal processors for permitting the transparent reception of a data signal in the video bandwidth of a cable television system is disclosed. The received signal has video and data components that are frequency interleaved in the video bandwidth in the active video intervals. The data signal is modulated with a carrier at a non-integral multiple of the horizontal scanning rate of the video signal. The receiver selects a forward channel transmitting the combined signal responsive to a control signal and extracts the data portion of the transmitted combined signal.
