Abstract: Methods of directing an instructional demonstration at a remote device, as provided herein, may include transmitting a recipe data packet configured to initiate a user-guided presentation of a plurality of sequenced recipe panels at the remote device. The method may further include transmitting a video signal configured to initiate a real-time video feed at the remote device in tandem with the user-guided presentation and receiving a user-progress signal from the remote device. The user-progress signal may correspond to a currently-displayed recipe panel of the plurality of sequenced recipe panels at the remote device. The method may still further include presenting a panel marker at an instructor device spaced apart from the remote device. The panel marker may indicate the currently-displayed recipe panel at the remote device.

Abstract: An energy management system for a home network is provided. The energy management system comprises one or more power consuming devices and a central controller having a memory and a communication module. The controller is operationally connected to the power consuming devices. The energy management system further includes a user interface capable of providing energy data to a user, and an emergency power device enabled with a communication device communicatively linked to the communication module, such that information may be transmitted by one of the communication device and communication module, and received by the other of the communication device and communication module.

Abstract: A faucet mounted water filtration system includes a base having an inlet, a water receiving chamber, and at least one outlet. The inlet is configured to be coupled to a faucet. A body is coupled to the base. The body includes a filter compartment configured to house a filter cartridge. A cover is rotatably coupled to the body. A cam is operatively coupled to the cover. A valve operatively engages a surface of the cam. The cam is rotatable to move the valve to open and close a passageway to the filter compartment. A biasing element biases the cover to a default position.

Abstract: A pitcher includes a container body defining a liquid storage cavity therein and having an open end and a cover removably coupled to the container body. The cover extends along the open end, and the cover defining a fill opening configured to receive a liquid therein. The fill opening is in communication with the liquid storage cavity. The pitcher also includes a lid assembly having a lid closing access to the fill opening. A slide mechanism is coupled to the lid, and the slide mechanism is slidably coupled to the cover.

Abstract: An over the range oven includes a main body defining a cooking cavity therein, wherein the cooking cavity includes a front edge surrounding an opening. An RF generation module is coupled to the cooking cavity and is configured to deliver microwave energy into the cooking cavity. At least one radiant heat source is coupled to the cooking cavity and is configured to supply heat energy to the cooking cavity. The oven is configured to operate in a radiant heat mode of operation, a microwave mode of operation, a dual mode of operation, and a self clean mode of operation.
