Publication number: 20220401838Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a system for analyzing a gameplay of a first video game. During operation, the system can obtain a stream of video frames associated with the gameplay. The system can then analyze the video frames to identify a set of features of the first video game. Here, a respective feature indicates the characteristics of a virtual object in a virtual environment of the first video game supported by a first game engine. Subsequently, the system can derive, based on the set of identified features, a set of parameters indicating one or more physical characteristics of one or more virtual objects in the virtual environment. The system can store the set of derived parameters in a file format readable by a second game engine different from the first game engine. This allows the second game engine to support a second video game that incorporates the physical characteristics.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 16, 2022Publication date: December 22, 2022Applicant: The Meta Game, Inc.Inventors: Thomas Nonn, Jay Brown, Garrett Krutilla, Duncan Haberly

Patent number: 8819856Abstract: A system is disclosed for identifying and preventing non-compliant uses of any portion of source code or other protected content. The system includes at least one processor and a memory storing instructions that cause the system to scan files located at a source location for excerpts of protected source code. The instructions may cause the system to create a temporary clone detection structure for the files at the source location. The instructions may cause the system to use the temporary clone structure and a pre-calculated clone structure for source code files in a protected code location, to identify code clones, and to generate data used to alert a user that the source location includes portions of source code from the protected code location. When clones are found, the instructions may optionally cause the system to prevent the copying of the files containing the code clones.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2012Date of Patent: August 26, 2014Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: Sven Tiffe, Michael Conradt, Jay Brown

Publication number: 20140218355Abstract: Systems and methods for mapping content directly to a 3D geometric playback surface. A source file is generated that includes content in a native format. A 3D geometric playback surface to which content can be mapped is generated. A portion of the 3D geometric playback surface to map content to is determined. The content is mapped to a determined portion of a 3D geometric playback surface in a native format of the content. Content mapped to a portion of a 3D geometric playback surface in a native format of the content is played from the 3D geometric playback surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 8, 2014Publication date: August 7, 2014Inventors: Peter Wilkins, Christopher Ryan Wheeler, Jay Brown, Barton Wells

Publication number: 20140218607Abstract: Generating a geometric playback surface with subdivisions for playing playback content. Subdividing at least one source file that includes playback content into a plurality of subdivided source files. Aggregated playback content is mapped form subdivided source files to the subdivisions of the geometric playback surface. A virtual sensor is placed on the playback surface and a portion of the mapped aggregated playback content is played based on the position of the virtual sensor on the geometric playback surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 8, 2014Publication date: August 7, 2014Inventors: Peter Wilkins, Christopher Ryan Wheeler, Jay Brown, Barton Wells

Publication number: 20060235730Abstract: Described are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for indicating a pending content change within a benefits content system. A request to change a portion of content within the benefits content system is received. A work item is initiating in a work flow process in response to the request. The work item is associated with the portion of content. Based on the association between the work item and the portion of content, an indicator is displayed indicating a pending change when the portion of content is displayed. Details about the pending change to the portion of content based on information included in the work item are displayed in response to an event. The indicator is automatically removed when the work item is closed.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2005Publication date: October 19, 2006Inventors: Remo Politano, Anupam Gupta, Sharad Agarwal, Jay Brown, Mark Regan, Donna Doeler, Cameron Hutt, Richard Magie, David Querze

Publication number: 20060087634Abstract: A subsystem for an exposure apparatus has at least one array of tilting mirrors placed in either an image reticle plane or a conjugate image plane to provide dynamic control of an illumination beam through an exposure field. In the system, an optical subsystem and a plurality of mirrors directs light to a reticle and a sensor senses the illumination distribution of the light at a wafer stage. When the at least one array of tilting mirrors is placed in the image reticle plane, a control is used to interpolate data of the illumination distribution sensed by the sensor, and then control movement of at least one mirror of the array of mirrors based on the interpolated data.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2004Publication date: April 27, 2006Inventors: Jay Brown, Koichi Matsumoto

Patent number: 4209781Abstract: A digital-to-analog driver capable of driving a speaker or other voice coil means and implementable using field effect semiconductor devices is disclosed. A plurality of switching field effect semiconductive constant current sources each having a control electrode and two current carrying electrodes are coupled in parallel at the current carrying electrodes thereof. Each switching field effect constant current sources preferably includes a field effect load device and a field effect switching device, the aforementioned control electrode preferably being the gate of the switching device. The respective width to length ratios of the active areas under the gates of the devices differ by a factor of two from each other. Therefore, the width to length ratio of the gates of a third one of the souces is twice the width to length ratio of the gates of a second one of the sources and four times the width to length ratio of the gates of a first one of the sources, and so forth.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1978Date of Patent: June 24, 1980Assignee: Texas Instruments IncorporatedInventors: Ajay K.
