  • Patent number: 9649581
Abstract: A seal for preventing the bypass of solids from a filter screen assembly that can be used in water and wastewater treatment. The seal can include an L-shaped bracket and a housing that can include a channel-shaped member. A first panel of the L-shaped bracket can be inserted into a groove of a belt of the filter screen assembly so as to fill that groove. The belt can be insertably received into a channel recess of the channel-shaped member of the housing. A second panel of the L-shaped bracket can be fastened to one side wall of the channel-shaped member. By securing the L-shaped bracket to the channel-shaped member of the housing, a track is formed for slidably engaging the belt during its rotational movement. The belt's contact with the first panel of the L-shaped bracket inserted into the belt's groove forms a tight, continuous seal.

  • Publication number: 20070215539
Abstract: A filter apparatus separates fine particles such as pine needles, threads, hairs and seeds from a liquid influent. A rotating grid assembly has multiple grid sections mounted by top-to-bottom connected links, supporting a filter media having specified openings sufficient for entrainment of miniscule particles. Grid sections are interchanged for collection and discharge of various sized particles using the same apparatus.

  • Patent number: 3999702
Abstract: A mailbox standard for maintaining roadside mail receptacles. Fundamentally, the invention includes a vertical post inserted into the ground and having extending therefrom, and perpendicular thereto, a horizontal member upon which the mailbox may be maintained. The horizontal member is rotational with respect to the vertical member and is biased by either gravity or mechanical biasing devices to maintain a predetermined normal position.
