The mounting assembly includes a support member coupled to the attachment bracket and extending along a support member axis. The support member has a body defining a substantially hollow interior that extends substantially co-axially along the support member axis. A support arm supports an antenna. The support arm is received within the substantially hollow interior of the support member. The support arm is in a locked position or an unlocked position relative to the support member. In the locked position, the support arm is fixed with respect to the support member. In the unlocked position, the support arm is movable with respect to the support member along the support member axis.
