    Abstract: Techniques for identifying a trusted SSID for a wireless network are disclosed. Prior to establishing a connection with a wireless network, a first network message is received from a first access point (AP) identifying a first service set identifier (SSID) associated with a first wireless network, a second network message is received from a second AP identifying a second SSID associated with a second wireless network, and a visual similarity is determined between a first visual representation of the first SSID and a second visual representation of the second SSID. The second SSID is designated as suspicious based on the determined visual similarity.

    Abstract: A pivot rod for a sun visor having a lighted vanity mirror which is constructed with two L-shaped semi-cylindrical members so that both wires for the circuit can be inserted into a channel prior to assembly. A connector is applied to the wires extending from the mounting socket end of the pivot rod, and the wires extending from the longer leg of the L-shaped pivot rod which is inserted into the sun visor are connected to the lighting circuit in the sun visor.

The exterior surface of the core members are covered with an upholstery material. The pivot rod, visor storage position spring, lighting circuit including lamps, mirror and sliding door are all preloaded into the base core member. Finally the cover core member is snapped locked to the base core member and the upholstery material is permanently held in place by separate retention means creating a unique seam with an overall aesthetic appearance.
