  • Publication number: 20190293383
Abstract: A projectile accelerating control system that includes a projectile accelerator and/or associated projectile equipment configured to provisionally lower the velocity and/or energy level, where said provisionally lower level is below the set upper velocity and/or energy limit. One aspect or feature of said accelerating system includes a means that indicates the amount of reduction from the upper velocity and/or energy limit. The accelerating control system includes adjustment mechanisms and/or methods that allow the impact energy of a projectile to be reduced from the upper impact limit associated with the upper velocity and/or energy limit. The accelerating control system includes adjustment mechanisms and/or methods that include a controller configured to allow the selective selection of a velocity and/or energy levels that fall below a upper velocity setting and/or energy level.

  • Publication number: 20150020786
Abstract: A linked control system for loading projectiles in a compressed projectile accelerator that includes controllers that automate the securing of stored projectiles on a players body. Where said stored projectiles are in storage containers or pods that are held and release to the player from the carrying belt or harness by the said controllers that are connected to relationship sensors. Further, the opening and closing of the containment lids of the storage pods, as well as, the containment lid of the loader or hopper that's attached to a projectile accelerator is also controlled and automated by the said controllers that are connected to relationship sensors. The system's linked controllers can also control one or more operating parameters of said compressed projectile accelerator through said relationships or proximity sensors, while informing the player of understandable operational information and/or game information.

  • Patent number: 8863733
Abstract: A projectile accelerating system that includes a projectile accelerator and/or associated projectile equipment configured to allow an informed user to more effectively engage opponents. The accelerating system includes an automatic and/or automated energy adjustment mechanism and/or method, configured to allow the projectile accelerator to effectively expel a plurality of projectiles at varying energy levels and/or settings. The adjustment mechanism and/or method includes a controller configured to allow the selective selection of energy levels and/or settings falling below an upper energy level or setting.

  • Publication number: 20140034036
Abstract: A projectile accelerating system that includes a projectile accelerator and/or associated projectile equipment configured to allow an informed user to more effectively engage differing opponents. The accelerating system includes an automatic and/or automated energy adjustment mechanism and/or method, configured to allow the projectile accelerator to effectively expel a plurality of projectiles at varying energy levels and/or settings. The adjustment mechanism and/or method includes a controller configured to allow the selective selection of energy saving levels and/or settings falling below an upper energy level and/or setting. Where the upper energy level and/or setting is a selected energy level and/or setting below the maximum energy level and/or setting of the projectile accelerator.

  • Patent number: 8360042
Abstract: A compressed gas projectile accelerating system that includes a compressed gas projectile accelerator and/or associated projectile equipment configured to allow an informed user to more effectively engage differing opponents. The accelerating system includes an automatic and/or automated velocity adjustment mechanism and/or method, as well as an automatic and/or automated adjustable loading mechanism and/or method, configured to allow the compressed gas projectile accelerator to effectively expel a plurality of projectiles between a first velocity setting and a second velocity setting. The velocity adjustment mechanism and/or method includes a velocity controller configured to allow the selective selection of velocity settings falling between the first velocity setting and the second velocity setting. Where the first velocity setting is a selected velocity setting below the maximum velocity of the compressed gas projectile accelerator.
