  • Patent number: 8511354
Abstract: A log splitter includes a trailer supporting a hydraulic pump, and a splitting beam coupled to the trailer. The splitting beam includes a housing maintaining a reservoir communicating with the hydraulic pump, and a hydraulic ram coupled to the housing, where the hydraulic ram is in communication with the reservoir and the hydraulic pump. The splitting beam is movable relative to the trailer between a first splitting position adjacent to the trailer and a second splitting position in which the splitting beam is displaced away from the trailer.

  • Publication number: 20130174823
Abstract: A bow press for deflecting bow limbs of a bow. Inside and outside support members are provided to engage the bow limbs and/or riser on the bow. Rotating support members roll on outside surfaces of the bow limbs to deflect the bow limbs toward the center portion in response to the actuator mechanism is extended.

  • Publication number: 20130174430
Abstract: A bow sight that decouples the shooter's bow cant from elevation adjustments. A segmented support assembly includes a proximal portion and a distal portion. The proximal portion is adapted to attach to the bow. The distal portion is rotatably attached to the proximal portion and adapted to rotate around a Y-axis relative to the proximal portion. A micro-adjust controls the rotational position around the Y-axis of the distal portion relative to the proximal portion. An elevation assembly is attached to the distal portion. A bezel assembly is attached to the elevation assembly. The elevation adjustment moves the bezel assembly along a substantially vertical axis while the bow is held at a bow cant greater than zero. The micro-adjust decouples the shooter's bow cant from operation of the elevation assembly. A windage assembly is optionally located between the elevation assembly and the distal portion.

  • Publication number: 20130174431
Abstract: A sighting device for a bow that includes a support assembly adapted to attach to the bow. A bezel assembly is attached to the support assembly. The bezel assembly includes a micro-adjust with a lead screw located adjacent to a bezel opening. A plurality of pin carriers each include a slider selectively moveable between an engaged position coupled to the lead screw and a disengaged position. As a result, each pin carrier is adapted to be selectively and independently displaced or not displaced by rotation of the micro-adjust. A plurality of sight pins are coupled to the pin carriers. Each sight pin includes a sight point at a distal end located in the bezel opening and a proximal end coupled to one of the pin carriers. The sight points are adapted to align the bow with a target viewed through the bezel opening.

  • Patent number: 8186068
Abstract: A bow sight and eye alignment assembly with phosphorescent fibers. The bow sight includes at least one sight pin mounted to a frame. At least one phosphorescent optical fiber is attached to the sight pin. At least a portion of the phosphorescent optical fiber is exposed to ambient light that is transmitted to a sight point on the sight pin. The eye alignment assembly includes a sight point of a phosphorescent optical fiber positioned a distance behind an alignment indicia on a lens. An adjustment system is provided to reposition the sight point of the eye alignment assembly relative to the alignment indicia on the lens. The eye alignment assembly preferably provides an indication of orientation of the user relative to the bow sight in at least two degrees of freedom.

  • Publication number: 20120102767
Abstract: A bow sight with at least one sight pin mounted to a frame assembly. At least one optical fiber is attached to the sight pin. The optical fiber is exposed to gather ambient light and to transmit light to a sight point located within the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly includes an optical structure mounted to the frame assembly including a sight point of an optical fiber located near a proximal end of the optical structure and a lens with alignment indicia located at a distal end of the optical structure. An adjustment system permits the optical structure to be reoriented relative to the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly provides an indication of orientation of the shooter relative to the bow in at least two degrees of freedom.

  • Patent number: 8079380
Abstract: An ice house including a collapsible frame assembly. The collapsible frame assembly includes at least one first pole with a connecting end having a plunger assembly. At least one second pole has a hollow end sized to telescopically engage with the plunger assembly and the first pole. The second pole has at least one detent proximate a connecting end sized to releasably engage with a plunger on the plunger assembly. An actuator assembly includes a first end secured to the connecting end of the second pole and a second end adapted to telescopically receive the plunger assembly and the first pole. The actuator assembly includes an actuator located over the detent and configured to flex between a relaxed position and a depressed position that disengages the plunger from the detent. A seat assembly is secured to the frame assembly and a cover having at least one door is attached to the frame assembly.

  • Patent number: 8079153
Abstract: A sighting device for a bow (or other tool) that includes an eye alignment assembly. A frame is attached to the bow using a mounting bracket. The frame includes a leading edge oriented toward a user, a trailing edge oriented down range of the bow, and a tapered inner surface generally surrounding a viewing opening. The tapered inner surface tapering outward from the leading edge toward the trailing edge. A plurality of sight points on sight pins are located in the viewing opening. The sight points are configured to align the bow with a target viewed through the viewing opening. The eye alignment assembly includes the tapered inner surface substantially concealed behind the leading edge when the frame is located at a particular orientation relative to the user's eye.
