  • Publication number: 20230202263
Abstract: A passenger cabin air distribution system includes a ventilation system and an ejector-diffuser. The ventilation system is operable to provide a conditioned air. The ejector-diffuser is positioned to receive a flow of the conditioned air from the ventilation system. The ejector-diffuser includes an induction unit and a diffuser section. The induction unit includes a secondary inlet in communication with a cabin air from a passenger cabin and is configured to mix the flow of the conditioned air with an induced flow of the cabin air into a mixed air. The diffuser section includes a discharge to eject the mixed air to the passenger cabin. The diffuser section is shaped to provide for efficient mixing with low backpressure in order to maintain the low motive pressure in the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20230091629
Abstract: A stent system may include a stent including a first leg having a first end fixedly attached to the distal end of a main body portion and extending distally from the distal end of the main body portion in a deployed configuration, and a second leg having a first end fixedly attached to the distal end of the main body portion and extending distally from the distal end of the main body portion in the deployed configuration. The second leg may extend proximally from the distal end of the main body portion in a delivery configuration. A stent system may include a bifurcated delivery sheath and two guidewires for delivery of two stents at the same time. A method of treating a body lumen may include delivering a contrast fluid including an anti-gas agent while implanting a stent in the body lumen.

  • Patent number: 7303055
Abstract: A protective lug cap assembly for protection of a lug of a friction brake disc comprises a lug cap, and a load bearing fastening device. The disc has a periphery, with a plurality of circumferentially spaced slots, separating a plurality of circumferentially spaced lugs. The slots are separated by a distance, and disposed for engagement by a spline of a torque device. Each of the slots have two generally radially extending wall portions, wherein each wall portion has a top, a bottom, and opposing sides, and a bottom surface extending between and interconnecting the wall portion bottoms. The lug cap has a lug cap face, wherein the lug cap covers one of the slot wall portions and extends circumferentially away from the slot on the slot wall top and the slot wall opposing sides, covering a portion of the lug. The lug cap face is a portion of the lug cap which covers the slot wall portion.

  • Patent number: 5641260
Abstract: A shaft coupling mechanism having a concentric alignment pin and a pivoting cylinder with a latch pin that acts as a shaft end stop and coupling latch, when a second shaft is engaged. Pivoting latch pin enters a slot mounted on the secondary shaft locking the two shafts together. This device pertains to the quick release locking mechanism for securely fastening or joining two mechanically supported shafts so loads or pallets can be transferred from one shaft to the other. This device is of most value to load carrying devices (pallets) that incorporate the use of "open" linear bearings. A secondary application of this device is for the coupling of a mobile cart, also with linear shafts to a machine center for the removal and storage of palletized fixturing.
