  • Patent number: 12620179
Abstract: Systems and processes for operating an intelligent automated assistant within a computer-generated reality (CGR) environment are provided. For example, a user input invoking a digital assistant session is received, and in response, a digital assistant session is initiated. Initiating the digital assistant session includes positioning a digital assistant object at a first location within the CGR environment but outside of the currently-displayed portion of the CGR environment at a first time, and providing a first output indicating the location of the digital assistant object.

  • Patent number: 12554815
Abstract: In some examples, a change in a current viewpoint of a user is detected while a three-dimensional environment is visible. In some examples, in accordance with a determination that at least a threshold amount of the object is visible from the viewpoint of the user, user authorization of the secure operation, using a virtual user interface object, is enabled. In some examples, the user is biometrically authenticated, at a first time, to perform a first type of biometric authentication. In some examples, a request to perform the secure operation is received at a second time. In some examples, in accordance with a determination that the user met respective criteria between the first time and the second time, the secure operation is performed without performing, after receiving the request, the first type of biometric authentication.

  • Publication number: 20250371811
Abstract: An example process includes: while displaying a portion of an extended reality (XR) environment representing a current field of view of a user: detecting a user gaze at a first object displayed in the XR environment, where the first object is persistent in the current field of view of the XR environment; in response to detecting the user gaze at the first object, expanding the first object into a list of objects including a second object representing a digital assistant; detecting a user gaze at the second object; in accordance with detecting the user gaze at the second object, displaying a first animation of the second object indicating that a digital assistant session is initiated; receiving a first audio input from the user; and displaying a second animation of the second object indicating that the digital assistant is actively listening to the user.

  • Publication number: 20250355485
Abstract: While a view of an environment is visible via one or more display generation components of a computer system, and while the view of the environment includes a respective object that moves as a hand of a user moves, the computer system detects, via one or more input devices, a respective input. In response to detecting the respective input: in accordance with a determination that first criteria are met, the first criteria including a requirement that the hand of the user is holding a controller, the computer system displays, via the one or more display generation components, a first user interface object at a first location relative to the respective object; and, in accordance with a determination that the first criteria are not met, the computer system forgoes displaying the first user interface object at the first location.

  • Publication number: 20250322571
Abstract: In some embodiments, an electronic device generates an automatically-generated visual media using one or more recognized concepts extracted from a prompt inputted by a user. The recognized concepts include personalized template subjects and/or prompt suggestions. While displaying the user interface including the recognized concepts, the electronic device receives one or more inputs to modify the recognized concepts. The electronic device generates multiple variants of the automatically-generated visual content using the one or more recognized concepts. The electronic device adds an automatically-generated visual content to a content entry field of an application, different than the automatically-generated visual media application, without opening the automatically-generated visual media application. The electronic device applies a visual effect to content that is generated using an artificial intelligence model.
