  • Publication number: 20070250515
Abstract: Methods and system of securing content and a destination of downloaded data may include a remote server comprising an executable file generator module operable to generate a customized file comprising requested map information and a data marker locking the map information to a predetermined end user device. The file generator module is further operable to encrypt the data marker and place a cipher key at a predetermined location in the customized file. The remote server is further operable to provide a download link to a user operating a user computing device operable to download the customized file from the remote server, for subsequent transfer to an end user device. Based upon the contents of the data marker, the end user device is operable to determine whether the downloaded file is intended for that particular end user device.

  • Publication number: 20060250799
Abstract: Method and apparatus for a range hood. The apparatus can include a housing and a lighting and control unit moveably coupled to the housing. The lighting and control unit can include a user interface and one or more lights. The lighting and control unit can be coupled to a motor that can move a first face of the lighting and control unit outward during use and can move the first face of the lighting and control unit inward when not in use. Some embodiments of the invention provide a fan mounted within the housing and a louver assembly coupled to the housing. The louver assembly can include one or more rotating louvers. In some embodiments, the louver assembly can be rotated downward to access at least one of a filter, a motor, and user interface electronics.

  • Publication number: 20050167440
Abstract: A coupling for connection of a tube comprises a coupling housing which includes a first end into which the tube is inserted, a clamping ring which is positioned in the coupling housing against a first conical surface, a sealing ring which is positioned in the coupling housing, and a return ring which is positioned in the coupling housing between the clamping ring and a second end of the housing adjacent a second conical surface that is tapered opposite to the first conical surface. The return ring is expandable and comprises a central aperture which is smaller than the external diameter of the tube. Accordingly, when the tube is pushed into the coupling housing and forced through the return ring, the return ring will expand and move along the second conical surface.

  • Patent number: 4619561
Abstract: A particulate matter conveyor includes an elongate outer tube having an inlet end and an outlet end, an inner tube disposed within the outer tube to extend substantially the length thereof and formed of a resilient helically wound wire spring, with the inner tube having a proximal end disposed generally adjacent to the inlet end of the outer tube for receiving gas supplied under pressure and a distal end disposed generally adjacent to the outlet end of the outer tube, and an opening formed near the inlet end of the outer tube through which particulate matter may be introduced into the interior of the outer tube. Gas supplied to the inner tube escapes from between the coils of the wire spring in a spiral-like fashion to carry particulate matter along the inside of the outer tube to the outlet end therof.
