  • Patent number: 6397720
Abstract: A novel resizing die (100/300) for a cartridge case has been provided for efficiently and quickly resizing a cartridge case during a reloading operation. The novel die includes a precise measuring system (122, 124, 108/122, 306, 108) for being able to accurately and precisely adjust the position of the resizing die when already threaded into an internal bore of a reloading press so that after a first resizing process is performed, the resizing die of the present invention may be precisely adjusted by the length that the cartridge's headspace distance is too long or too short so that the next resizing process will yield a cartridge headspace distance that is in substantial accordance with a predetermined length.

  • Publication number: 20020063318
Abstract: An improved ball grid array assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a ball grid array package (100), a substrate (104), and an insert device (108) interposed therebetween. Insert device (108) includes an array of contacts configured to couple to package (110) and an array of solder balls (112) configured to couple to a printed circuit board (116). Insert device (108) reduces stresses in the assembly caused by any mismatch of the thermal coefficients of expansion of BGA package (100) and printed circuit board (116).

  • Patent number: 6305972
Abstract: An apparatus (20) for mounting an electronic component (30) to a print circuit board (40), wherein the electronic component (30) has a positive lead (32) and negative lead (34). The mounting apparatus (20) includes a positive contact plate (50) having a component contact (54) and PCB contact (56), wherein the component contact (54) and the PCB contact (56) are connected with and extending from the positive contact plate (50). The mounting apparatus also includes a negative contact plate (60) having a component contact (64) and a PCB contact (66), wherein the component contact (64) and the PCB contact (66) are connected with and extending from the negative contact plate (60).

  • Patent number: 6157350
Abstract: An antenna latching mechanism includes a housing with an attached antenna and a mating utility part. A collar is formed on one of the housing and the utility part and a mating stem, rotatably fitting within the collar, is formed on the other. The collar and stem define an opening and a ridge is formed in the opening. Flexible fingers, each having a cam surface, are positioned on one of the housing and the utility part to extend through the opening, with the stem coaxially positioned in the collar, so the cam surfaces engage the ridge in a releasable assembled orientation. Detent notches are defined in one of the collar and stem and a mating flexible detent finger is formed in the other to engage a selected one of the notches and provide a plurality of stable axial positions of the housing relative to the mating utility part.
