Abstract: An amusement projectile for hand launching is provided, as well as a competitive skill game utilizing same. The projectile preferably includes a weighted body having a leading edge and a trailing edge, the leading edge having a thickness less than a width thereof. A flowing tail, having a free end adapted so as to be supported by a portion of a hand in furtherance of launching the device, extends from the trailing edge. The game includes the steps of identifying a target for the projectile and, hand launching the projectile toward the target from one or more fingers engaged at a free end of the flowing tail.
