  • Patent number: 9915934
Abstract: A motion control system includes a motion control application generated by a motion control system designer, a motion control component defining an application programming interface comprising an API function, and a security system comprising security settings for determining access by the motion control application to an API function of the application programming interface. A motion control application comprises an API function call. The motion control application makes an API function call to the motion control component. The motion control component generates a motion control command based on the API function call. The security system limits generation by the motion control component of a motion control command based on the security settings. • Publication number: 20170038763
Abstract: A motion system for allowing a person to cause a desired motion operation to be performed, comprising a network, a motion machine, a speech to text converter, a message protocol generator, an instant message receiver, and a motion services system. The motion machine is capable of performing motion operations. The speech to text converter generates a digital representation of a spoken motion message spoken by the person. The message protocol generator generates a digital motion command based on the digital representation of the spoken motion message and causes the digital motion command to be transmitted over the network. The instant message receiver receives the digital motion command. The motion services system causes the motion machine to perform the desired motion operation based on the digital motion command received by the instant message receiver.

  • Patent number: 8271105
Abstract: A method of debugging software used to communicate with a motion control system comprising the following steps. Debug information containing diagnostic information associated with a hardware motion control attribute is generated. At least one selected software driver is capable of sending the debug information to a debug target. A software application is caused to call a motion component function to exchange a common motion control attribute with a selected software driver. The called motion component function is used to cause a motion component to exchange a common motion control attribute with the selected driver by calling a driver function. A called driver function is used to cause the selected software driver to convert a common motion control attribute to a hardware motion control attribute, exchange a hardware motion control attribute with the motion control device, and send debug information to the debug target.
