  • Patent number: 10379425
Abstract: A device for mounting a camera to a chain link fence or the like, wherein the device includes an L-bracket with a vertical leg and a horizontal leg joined to each other an angled juncture, the vertical leg extending downward from the juncture and having a front side and a back side. A fixation element is attachable to the back side of the vertical leg from the front side of the vertical leg and is configured so that, in use, when the fixation element is engaged against the front side of the fence and the front surface of the vertical leg is engaged against the back side of the fence, the attachment of the fixation element to the back side of the vertical leg through an opening in the fence secures the fence between the fixation element and the vertical leg.

  • Patent number: 8413706
Abstract: A window covering louvered blind system for horizontal and vertical orientations has a plurality of structurally sound and aesthetically appealing louvers within the body of the window-covering unit. A primary main body or middle segment of the louver is substantially planar with opposed fins that extend integrally in the same downward direction from the elongated edges of the main body at an obtuse angle. The preferred embodiments have a matching head-rail and bottom rail. Both symmetrical and asymmetrical versions of fins are disclosed. The louvers hereof are shown being used in blinds and shutters.

  • Publication number: 20120085503
Abstract: A window covering louvered blind system for horizontal and vertical orientations has a plurality of structurally sound and aesthetically appealing louvers within the body of the window-covering unit, creating the look of soft fabric roman shades. A primary main body or middle segment of the louver is substantially planar, radiused or curvilinear with at least one fin which may be tapered and that extends from the elongated edge of the main body at a continuous obtuse angle. In some versions two opposed fins extend integrally in the same downward direction from the elongated edges of the main body at an obtuse angle. The preferred embodiments have a matching head-rail and bottom rail designed to neatly nest the louvers above it. Both symmetrical and asymmetrical versions of fins are disclosed. The louvers hereof are shown being used in blinds and shutters.

  • Publication number: 20040139972
Abstract: A fixed length, immalleable stylet for insertion into an endotracheal tube with an articulating tip. The stylet is preferably curved, semi-rigid and shape-retaining. This stylet is of fixed length and when inserted into an endotracheal tube with an articulating tip, promotes rigidity of the main body of the endotracheal tube, while allowing full function of the articulating tip mechanism. The stylet cannot protrude beyond the flexion point of an articulating tip endotracheal tube. This combination allows the tube to be passed in even very difficult airways while preserving the articulation capability afforded by the endotracheal tube.

  • Patent number: 6761171
Abstract: An endotracheal tube which facilitates rapid intubation of the trachea, especially in situations where anatomical variation creates difficult intubating conditions, includes a portion that can be bent during placement to control the position of the distal end of the tube. The distal end of the endotracheal tube may be selectively curled or bent by a mechanism or fluid passage accessible from the proximal end of the endotracheal tube. The endotracheal tube provides for manipulation of the insertion end without occluding the lumen of the tube, to facilitate placement of the tube.

  • Patent number: 6125906
Abstract: A slat or rail used in a covering for an architectural opening includes a wooden core or the like that is wrapped with a flexible film of foil, paper or the like with the film bonded to the core with a Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) hot melt adhesive that provides a moisture free barrier around the core. The core may be provided with grooves in which edges of the film can be inserted to facilitate an aesthetic attachment of the film to the core.
