Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling or effectively disabling recordation by a camera in an environment are disclosed. One system embodiment includes, among others, a detector and a neutralizer disposed in the environment and coupled to each other. One method embodiment, among others, includes emitting light or a signal into the environment, detecting a camera in the environment, and neutralizing the ability of the camera to capture an image with light emitted from a light source.
