Abstract: A folding lock mechanism includes a fixing seat, a turning element, a first positioning component, a second positioning component, and a connection component. The fixing seat is connected to a front end of the footrest and provided with a first positioning part at one end thereof. The turning element has a second positioning part and a front end of which is coupled to the operation lever, and the turning element is pivotally connected with the fixing seat. The first positioning component is connected with the turning element in a way capable of relatively reciprocating rotation, and is capable of being engaged with the first positioning part. The second positioning component is connected with the fixing seat in a way capable of relative reciprocating rotation, wherein the second positioning component is provided with an engaging part at one end thereof for being engaged with the second positioning part.

Abstract: A navigation signaling system for communicating navigation information of a personal transportation device is provided. The navigation signaling system includes a computer and a navigation system. The computer has at least one display device. The navigation system is coupled to the computer and provides a current position and a course data of the personal transportation device. The computer drives the signal display device to display a directional signal flashing in increasing frequency as a function of proximity of the current position to a turn event in the course data.

Abstract: A fall detection system for detecting falls off a mobility vehicle includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a processor disposed in the mobility vehicle or a mobile device. The first sensor is disposed on the mobility vehicle and generates a first sensor reading corresponding to movement of the mobility vehicle. The second sensor is disposed in the mobile device and generates a second sensor reading corresponding to movement of the mobile device.

Abstract: A method for conducting an electronic business transaction with a customer over a network is described. A first computer system is in communication with a second computer system via the network. The first computer system stores product information of a business association. A customer using the second computer system can browse the product information by downloading the information from the first computer system to the second computer system. The customer submits sufficient information to conduct a first potential business transaction in order to obtain at least one of the business offerings. After obtaining the sufficient information from the customer and determining that the customer intends to conclude the first potential business transaction, an offer to conduct a second, different potential business transaction is presented to the customer.
