  • Patent number: 11931418
Abstract: A method for treating or preventing one or more symptoms of severe inflammation in the lung of a subject in need thereof includes administering to the subject a composition comprising dendrimers complexed, covalently conjugated, or intra-molecularly dispersed or encapsulated with one or more therapeutic or prophylactic agents, in an amount effective to treat, alleviate or prevent one or more symptoms of severe inflammation. The compositions and methods are useful for treating disorders characterized by cytokine storm, for example, for treating or preventing acute lung injury (ALI) and/or acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) results in from ventilator use or infection such as with COVID-19, sepsis, and systemic bacterial infections in a subject in need thereof have been established. Preferably, the dendrimers are generation 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers, and the therapeutic agents are one or more anti-inflammatory and/or anti-oxidant agents such as N-acetyl cysteine.

  • Patent number: 10063430
Abstract: Various systems and methods described herein relate to server-based computing, where the systems and methods provide a client with access to an application executing remotely from the client device and having access to data (e.g., one or more files) residing on a cloud-based storage (e.g., provided by a third-party cloud-based storage service, such as Dropbox, Box, or Google® Docs). For some systems and methods, the application may be remotely executed and provided to the client such that the application has in-application/embedded access (hereafter, referred to as “native access”) to the cloud-based storage and files residing on the cloud-based storage.

  • Patent number: 9965151
Abstract: Systems and methods may: execute a virtualized application instance in a virtual computing environment; receive from a remote client device first object data relating to a first set of user interactions received with respect to a client-side graphical use interface (GUI) object at the remote client device, the client-side GUI object representing a GUI object of the virtualized application instance; translating the first object data to second object data relating to the GUI object of the virtualized application instance, the second object data executing a command when applied to the GUI object of the virtualized application instance; and synchronizing the GUI object of the virtualized application instance with the client-side GUI object by applying the second object data to the GUI object of the virtualized application instance.

  • Patent number: 9886189
Abstract: Server-side systems and methods may: execute a virtualized application instance based on a version of the application in a virtual computing environment; capture first object data regarding an application object of the virtualized application instance; transmit to a remote client device the first object data; receive from the remote client device second object data relating to a client-side object at the remote client device, the client-side object representing the application object; and synchronize the application object with the client-side object based on the second object data.

  • Patent number: 9825890
Abstract: Systems and methods provide a social productivity platform to create or modify documents and other data content objects using collaborative efforts, possibly where the efforts are received through a social networking service. The systems and methods can, for example, create, review and share documents, spreadsheets and presentations from any device, using any cloud storage provider. When teams of users collaboratively work on a document or other file, systems and methods connect each the team users to the document or file, and maintain a history buffer of comments, changes, or other events. The systems and methods enable a user to create, review, edit, or otherwise access content and capture information regarding changes implemented during individual or group-based editing to the content.

  • Patent number: 9607278
Abstract: A system comprises a workspace associated with content objects and users, the workspace enabling actors to perform operations on the objects; a data capture module configured to capture scoring factors associated with operations performed, the scoring factors including a number of times a target user has performed operations on the objects, the target user being possibly interested in receiving a notification about the operations performed; a relevance scoring module configured to evaluate the scoring factors associated with the operations performed to generate a relevance score associated with the target user and associated with the operations performed; and a notification module configured to provide a notification to the target user upon satisfaction of a notification threshold condition, satisfaction of the notification threshold condition based on identification of particular operations performed that satisfy relevance threshold conditions, satisfaction of the relevance threshold conditions based on the
