  • Publication number: 20260335602
Abstract: A catheter securement device includes a base having first and second sections and an elastomeric member positioned between and secured to the first and second sections. The first and second sections are co-planar when the elastomeric member is in a relaxed state. First and second hinge members are secured to front edges of the first and second sections and each includes an arm extending outward therefrom. A distal end of each arm includes a laterally extending prong. When the elastomeric member is folded to an unrelaxed state, the prongs are in adjacent relationship and each extends in substantially a same direction to facilitate insertion and removal through an incision in the skin of a patient. Upon insertion through the incision and subsequently allowing the elastomeric member to return to the relaxed state, the prongs are rotated so as to become subcutaneously anchored in the skin of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20260325405
Abstract: A fluid transfer system is provided that includes an infusion fluid container containing an infusion fluid therein and an infusion adapter for connection with the infusion fluid container. The infusion fluid container includes a port having a fluid barrier member therein. The infusion adapter includes a connection spike having a main spike portion and a puncturing point configured to engage the port, with the port positioned about the main spike portion and the puncturing point when engaged therewith, and a securing mechanism for securing the infusion fluid container and infusion adapter together. The securing mechanism secures the main spike portion within the port when engaged therewith, with the securing mechanism restricting vertical movement between the port and the main spike portion to prevent dislodging of the main spike portion from the port.

  • Patent number: 12030699
Abstract: A cross-brace assembly for a package for a household appliance and method of assembling are provided. The cross-brace assembly can include a holder having a body having opposing first and second sides. The body includes first and second inner tabs that include first and second apertures, respectively. A first outer tab projects from the first side of the body, adjacent to the first inner tab, and a second outer tab projects from the second side of the body, adjacent to the second inner tab. A brace having opposing first and second ends can be received within the first and second apertures such that the first end of the brace is disposed adjacent the first outer tab and the second end of the brace is disposed adjacent the second outer tab to retain the brace relative to the holder.
