  • Publication number: 20240131348
Abstract: In one example, a lead comprises a plurality of conductors, each conductor of the plurality of conductors comprising a conductor first end, a conductor second end, and a conductor intermediate portion therebetween, and a spline. The lead may include a first set of contacts and a second set of contracts electrically coupled with respective conductors of the plurality of conductors. The second set of contacts may include a plurality of inserts defining a plurality of apertures through which an end of respective conductors is disposed. Tire lead may further include an outer lead body disposed over at least the intermediate portion of the plurality of conductors.

  • Patent number: 6625674
Abstract: A method and apparatus for non-interrupt-driven handshake with acknowledgment are provided. A first software resource in a data processing system communicates a data value to a second software resource by writing the data value to a first register field, where it may be read by the second software resource. On writing the data, the first resource sets a write signal in a second register field. If the second software resource attempts to read the data value before it is written by the first resource, a reset value in the second field informs the second resource that any data in the first field is invalid. The second resource then sets a first predetermined value in a third field which informs the first resource that the second has attempted a read. If the data is valid when the second resource attempts the read, the data is retrieved, and the second resource echos the value in a fourth field.

  • Patent number: 6282674
Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for remote retrieval of an integrated-circuit state according to the present invention uses a remote input/output (“RIO”) processor with a test circuit interface, which in the preferred embodiment is the TAP 118. The test circuit interface is for electrically-coupling to an integrated circuit having a test circuit with at least one register for storing a state-information with respect to the integrated circuit. The RIO processor executes a program that instructs the RIO processor to retrieve the state-information in response to a request command. The retrieved state information is transmitted for analysis at a location remote from the computer system using a data-and-instruction communication device.

  • Patent number: 5835535
Abstract: The data bus interface apparatus (243) which interfaces between one of a plurality of peripheral units (111) and a data bus (109). The data bus interface driver (243) is capable of biasing data to the voltage level of the data bus (109), accepting data signals (233) having different amplitudes and is immune to differences in ground voltage potentials caused by induced noise and differing environmental conditions. The data bus interface driver (243) is capable of data transition rates in excess of 1 MHz and has low EMI and RFI emissions.
