Abstract: Described is an inflatable car seat that provides for easy transport and inflation as well as providing suitable fixings for secure installation in a vehicle. The car seat includes an elongate pump housing including an air pump, and first and second inflatable members each secured to the pump housing along a portion of the length thereof. Operation of the air pump inflates the first inflatable member to form a base portion of the car seat, and inflates the second inflatable member to form a rear portion of the car seat.
