  • Patent number: 11384829
Abstract: A planetary transmission includes a ring gear holder and a ring gear for accommodating at least one planetary gear. The ring gear holder can be connected to a housing component at its end face, and a plurality of recesses for accommodating fastening means are embodied at an end face of the ring gear holder. Accommodated in at least one of the recesses is a hollow element, in which a fastening screw is accommodated. The hollow element establishes a positive-fit engagement between the ring gear holder and the housing component.

  • Publication number: 20210381928
Abstract: In an operating method for a transmission having a plurality of transmission components, an operating state of the transmission is established and a mechanical stress on a first transmission component is detected. An amount of damage to the first transmission component then determined based on the detected mechanical stress for a first damage mechanism and added to a defect total using a first defect accumulation model. A model-based remaining useful life of the first transmission component and a probability of occurrence are determined based on the first defect accumulation model. The probability of occurrence for the model-based remaining useful life is determined based on data sets of comparison components having an identical construction to the first transmission component. A corresponding computer program product, a control unit, a monitoring system and a transmission application operating according to the method are also described.

  • Publication number: 20190337089
Abstract: In a method for making a tooth system of a gearing component, an unfinished tooth-system part is heat-treated. At least part of an oxide layer on the unfinished tooth-system part is mechanically removed, while leaving a residual oxide layer in at least one region, and the residual oxide layer is at least partially removed by irradiating with a laser at least a portion of the residual oxide layer.

  • Patent number: 10005161
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for producing a large transmission gearwheel (1; 31; 36) consisting of a plurality of individual components, said process comprising the successive steps of: providing the individual components, which include at least one hub (2; 32; 37), a disc wheel (3, 4; 18, 19; 22; 24; 27; 33, 34; 38, 39) and a toothed ring (5; 20; 21; 23; 26; 35; 40) produced from case-hardened steel; at least partially mechanically soft machining the individual components; joining the individual components using a beam welding process; case hardening the individual components which have been joined to one another, and hard machining at least the toothed ring (5; 20; 21; 23; 26; 35; 40). The invention furthermore relates to a large transmission gearwheel produced by such a process.

  • Publication number: 20160229009
Abstract: In a method for producing a spur-cut gear wheel, a plurality of individual components are provided with at least one hub, a disk wheel and a ring gear. The individual components are subjected to at least partial mechanical soft machining and joined by using a welding method. At least the ring gear is hardened and hard machined. Before carrying out a grinding burn test by using the nital etching process, gaps present on the rear side in the area of the welds produced during welding are sealed by using a sealing material that is resistant to nitric acid.
