Abstract: A stop and guide barrier for parking aircraft has a stop carrying a guide pattern against which the windscreen of an aircraft must be brought. The barrier is formed from several elements mounted end to end and hinged to each other, the stop mounted as an extension of one of the endmost elements. The opposite endmost element is received in a support structure. The barrier has a first assembly of elements adapted to allow movement of the stop in three dimensions and a second assembly of actuators provided for selectively actuating the first assembly as a function of the particular characteristics of the aircraft that is expected.
