  • Publication number: 20030031557
Abstract: The support spacer sector (14) minimizes functional clearances (J) between the end of the blades (3) and the ring (12) of the high pressure turbine and the assembly clearances of the support spacer sectors (14) on the casing of the high pressure turbine (1).

  • Publication number: 20030012651
Abstract: A flange (10) covering a disc (3) of a turbine blade (4) in order to allow ventilation (27, 29) and whose diverted face (24) of the disc (3) is provided with a labyrinth seal (20) with lickers (23) to form a seal, original in that the cutters (37) of the lickers (23) are inclined axially and staggered axially and radially, in order to off-set the center of gravity of the flexible web (14) of the disc and to encourage deformation of the web (14) towards the disc (3) under the effect of centrifugal forces, in order to reinforce the contact of a bearing face (15) with a pressure plate (16) of the disc (3). Thus the hooks usually used to unite the periphery of the web (14) to the disc (3) become superfluous.

  • Publication number: 20020053837
Abstract: The ventilation assembly designed to cool a stator ring (1) of a turbine machine, finishes on gas blower manifolds (3) composed of symmetric half-shells (7 and 8) attached by welding at their opposite edges and joined together by distributors (4) composed mainly of cylindrical coils acting as spacers placed between the manifolds (3) and welded to them. Finally, the flexible support means comprise rules (6) to complete the assembly of the manifolds to the ring (1).

  • Publication number: 20020018719
Abstract: An apparatus for axially retaining rotor blades to an annular radially extending disk having a recess and a flange. An annular retaining ring is disposed in the recess and includes an axially extending lip and an axially outer side forming an annular bevel surface along a radially outer edge. A retaining plate having an axially extending base, a radially extending outward arm and a radially extending inward leg having an annular bevel surface along an axially inner, radially inner edge is affixed to the disk and the leg cooperates with the lip of the ring. Wherein, the bevel surfaces of the retaining plate and retaining ring are arranged outwardly opposite to one another so that the bevel surfaces are radially compressed along each other as the base slidably engages with the recess walls.

  • Patent number: 5775874
Abstract: Device for joining turbine engine distributor segments (22) to a casing (3). The pins (13) for stopping the rotation of the segments (22), engaged in notches (26) of the latter, are separated from a casing-abutment flange (23) by a continuous partition (27), which prevents any air leak.
