Abstract: A conditioning element for a treatment device to accelerate drying of forage. The conditioning element includes an active part to work the forage and a first connecting part to connect, in a pivoting manner about a connecting axis, the conditioning element to a support. The conditioning element additionally includes a third part arranged such that: a center of gravity of the active part and a center of gravity of the third part lie on each side of a plane passing through the connecting axis and roughly perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the conditioning element, and a center of gravity of the third part is distant from a plane passing through the connecting axis and containing the center of gravity of the active part. The conditioning element may find application particularly in the field of agricultural mowers.
