  • Patent number: 7722288
Abstract: A drainage system for use with a synthetic grass surface, the system having a base having a center portion with a first depth and a perimeter channel with a second depth being greater than the first depth, a plurality of tiles above the base, and a synthetic grass above the plurality of tiles. Also, a business method facilitates installation of a synthetic grass system which utilizes drainage tiles positioned between a stone base and the bottom of the synthetic turf, wherein a mold for manufacturing the tile is provided from the turf company to a manufacturing company located in relatively close proximity to where the synthetic turf system is to be installed.

  • Patent number: 6001316
Abstract: Method of treatment of environmentally hazardous waste material and recovering MgCl.sub.2 brine, based on dissolving of the waste material in water and hydrochloric acid and simultaneous removal of ammonia at elevated temperatures, destruction of residual aqueous ammonia and removal of Mn, where the material is pre-treated in a special mixing unit adding water to provide a slurry and where hydrogen and other evolved gases are continuously diluted.

  • Patent number: 5457983
Abstract: The apparatus and the method are provided for the generation of a reference gas consisting of a gaseous medium carrying a known concentration of vapors of a volatile liquid substance. The gaseous medium is introduced into a container enclosing an absorbing material filled with the volatile liquid substance for obtaining a mixed gas. The mixed gas is cooled with thermoelectric Peltier cells in a condenser to a given temperature lower than the temperature of the mixed gas in the container for condensing a part of the vapors. Condensates of the vapors fall back by gravity towards the container. A temperature probe at the outlet and a cooling control device are used for maintaining the mixed gas at the outlet at the given temperature. The apparatus is particularly useful for suprathreshold odor intensity olfactometers, gas calibrators and in medicine.
