Abstract: A delivery station and a method for unblanked sheet delivery uses a delivery pull-out frame provided with front jogging stops and transverse gripper bars. The ends of the bars are fixedly attached to two respective endless loops flexible drive elements for conveying the sheets in process. The front jogging stops of the delivery pull-out frame are spaced apart to allow the passage between them of grippers of the gripper bar. The gripper bar is inclined around a transverse shaft, for lowering the level of the grippers below the level of the respective upper edges of the front jogging stops, by simultaneously opening the said grippers, in order to separate the sheet from the grippers by bringing the front edge of the sheet against the front stops.

Abstract: A converting press for paper or cardboard sheets including a waste stripping station and/or a blanking station with a pull-out chase (1, 2, 3, 4). A pair of horizontal transverse rails (5, 11) supports an upper stripping tool for a waste stripping operation, or a blanking tool for a blanking operation. The first rail (5) is fixed relative to the chase and the second rail is movable in a longitudinal direction. The profile of the rails allows receiving and maintaining in an operational waste stripping position, a pull-out chase of an upper tool or an upper stripping board, and/or blanking board for blanking operation.

Abstract: A movable upper tool for separating blanks comprises a base plate with apertures and on a lower side is provided with punches. The tool cooperates with a lower tool having separating bars for the separation of the blanks. The apertures of the upper tool are arranged along two orthogonal axes in an area, and one of these orthogonal axes consists of a line slanting with regard to one of the edges of the base plate of the movable tool, and at least one of the lateral sides of each of the cross sections of the punches is tangential to one of the apertures so that the space between the punches determines the total pressure identical to the punches on the blanks to be separated in the neighborhood of the separating bar, regardless of the position of the separating bar of the lower tool.

Abstract: A device having a movable grid mounted on a movable carriage to temporarily intercept sheets being deposited from a machine for processing the sheets being discharged into a pile from a machine for processing the sheets includes an arrangement of a planetary system comprising a pinion movable in a circular arc coacting with a rim gear rigidly mounted on a frame and an arrangement for connecting the pinion to the carriage so that as the pinion rotates in the circular arc, the carriage is shifted between a retracted position and a second position for intercepting the sheets being deposited in pile. The device is particularly useful in a delivery station for a machine for die cutting package blanks in sheets of material.
