  • Publication number: 20240104353
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for generating an output token sequence from an input token sequence. The method combines a look ahead tree search, such as a Monte Carlo tree search, with a sequence-to-sequence neural network system. The sequence-to-sequence neural network system has a policy output defining a next token probability distribution, and may include a value neural network providing a value output to evaluate a sequence. An initial partial output sequence is extended using the look ahead tree search guided by the policy output and, in implementations, the value output, of the sequence-to-sequence neural network system until a complete output sequence is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20240083367
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle rooftop sliding carrier designed for enhanced cargo transportation, such as sports equipment. The carrier comprises a fixed frame configured for attachment to a vehicle roof, featuring longitudinal members. A sliding frame is installed atop the fixed frame and is designed to slide rearwardly relative to the vehicle. This sliding frame includes its own longitudinal members parallel to those of the fixed frame. A set of casters is situated on the sliding frame's longitudinal members to facilitate rearward sliding relative to the fixed frame. Notably, the sliding frame is narrower than the fixed frame, allowing the casters to roll within the interior of the fixed frame's longitudinal members. Additionally, cargo attachments are incorporated into the sliding frame for secure cargo placement.

  • Patent number: 11912645
Abstract: The invention is based on the discovery of a new bacterial compound with analgesic properties which could be used as a new tool for the treatment of pain disorders such as visceral pain. Studying the mechanisms implicated in analgesic properties of the probiotic Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917 (EcN), inventors characterized, the amino fatty acids produced by EcN, which display the Ecn analgesic properties. One of these compounds inhibits the hypersensitivity to colorectal distension induced by capsaicin, which is a very powerful nociceptive compound and acts via the GABA B receptor. Furthermore, inventors demonstrate that this compound is able to cross the cellular epithelial barrier (such as the intestinal epithelium). Thus, the invention relates to a lipopetide compound, derived from gamma-aminobutyric acid. The invention also relates to a lipopeptide compound according to the invention for the treatment of treating pain disorder, such as somatic pain and visceral pain.

  • Patent number: 6865518
Abstract: A device for obtaining vehicle electromagnetic signature data from electromagnetic signals includes means (16) for obtaining a digitized signal from measured electromagnetic signals. The device further includes means (20) for determining if a digitized signal is a vehicle electromagnetic signature signal. The means (20) then calculate electromagnetic signature data of a vehicle from the digitized signal, and time-stamp each data point of the electromagnetic signature. Vehicles can therefore be classified in accordance with several criteria by specific processing of the digitized electromagnetic signature signals.

  • Patent number: 4429098
Abstract: Modified crude toluene diisocyanate characterized by the fact that it is obtained by reaction first of a crude toluene diisocyanate with a polyol in such a quantity that the lowering of the isocyanate concentration of the crude toluene diisocyanate at the most amounts to about 2.0--NCO groups per kilogram of crude toluene diisocyanate and by the fact that in a second step the above reaction product is aged under heat application for such a temperature and period of time that the lowering of the isocyanate concentration of this reaction product at the most amounts to 0.4--NCO groups per kilogram of product. This modified crude toluene diisocyanate can be used for making high resiliency polyurethane foam with improved properties.
