  • Patent number: 6929243
Abstract: The butterfly valve comprises a disk which is provide with at least one protuberance over at least a portion of at least one of its faces. Quite unexpectedly, the use of such a disk makes it possible to improve considerably the quality of the cleaning of the valve and to reduce the time required for cleaning operations.

  • Publication number: 20030145676
Abstract: A flywheel for an internal combustion engine comprises a support and a ring gear. The support possesses a radial surface and the ring gear possesses a complementary radial surface. According to the invention, the ring gear is shaped in such a manner as to allow the ring gear to deform radially towards the axis of rotation of the flywheel at least in certain deformation angular sectors corresponding to compression and expansion zones of the pistons of the engine, and the complementary radial surface is fixed to the radial surface in fixing annular sectors that are situated between adjacent pairs of deformation angular sectors.

  • Publication number: 20030136217
Abstract: The flywheel of all internal combustion engine comprises a support and a ring gear. The outer peripheral end of the support has a radial surface and the inner peripheral end of the ring gear has a complementary radial surface. An element of viscoelastic material is situated between the radial surface and the complementary radial surface in such a manner as to put under compression stress in the radial and axial directions.

  • Patent number: 6318409
Abstract: A system for assembling at least two pressurized fluid control members is made up of an interface to which the control members, which are essentially pneumatic, are fixed. The interface includes fluid pipes connecting their feed and outlet orifices and at least two faces with an angle &agr; between them from 5° to 175° and each of which receives at least one of the control members.

  • Patent number: 6279602
Abstract: A piston type valve includes a piston moving in a cylindrical seat. The piston is fastened to an operating rod extending along the axis of the cylindrical seat. The perimeter of the piston carries an elastomer O-ring providing the seal between the piston and the cylindrical seat. The piston includes two piston members fixed axially together by clamping means. Each of the two members includes an annular groove of substantially circular arc shaped cross section open toward the groove on the other member. The elastomer O-ring is housed between the two annular grooves and clamped between them by the clamping means.

  • Patent number: 6089255
Abstract: A valve comprises a body including a chamber and two superposed closures moving in the chamber and the bottom part of the chamber includes a first seat for one closure and a second seat for the other closure. The closures are each carried by a swing mobile between a position in which the closure bears in sealed fashion on the corresponding seat and a position in which the closure is spaced from the seat. The space between the two closures contains an elastic material membrane closing a chamber into which a compressed air feed discharges. The membrane can therefore be inflated and pressed in sealed fashion onto the top closure to close and seal the inlet of a passage which discharges into a space between the two closures.

  • Patent number: 5201490
Abstract: A gate-valve comprising a gate-valve body inside of which a gate-valve seat is formed having a stop surface delimiting the orifice of a pipe, a valve moving in a linear direction in the gate-valve body, the valve having an upper shoulder and a lower shoulder axially distanced from the upper shoulder, and a seal fitted between the two shoulders intended to stop the orifice of the pipe, the pipe having an internal peripheral surface which is parallel with the direction of displacement of the valve, characterized in that the valve comprises a limiting means to limit the flow of a liquid between a surface of the valve and the internal peripheral surface of the pipe during the displacement of the valve while the seal is not completely removed from the orifice of the pipe.
