  • Publication number: 20240089758
Abstract: A method evaluates channel information of a database, DB, the DB channel information being associated to a target area and being representative of expected characteristics of a wireless communication channel in the target area to be provided to one or more communication devices. The method includes: obtaining, by a processing circuit, all or part of the DB channel information from the database; obtaining, by the processing circuit, observed channel information representative of characteristics of the wireless communication channel experienced by a first communication device in the target area; computing, by the processing circuit, a reliability indicator for the DB channel information for the target area, by comparing the DB channel information and the observed channel information and determining a timing information for the reliability indicator.

  • Publication number: 20240057064
Abstract: A method implemented by a first device to share at least one resource element within a wireless communication network, the resource element belonging to a first set of radio resources allocated to the first device within a resource pool, the first device using a device-to-device communication within the wireless communication network, and wherein the first device emits, through the device-to-device communication, an indication that the resource element is available for sharing.

  • Publication number: 20230354280
Abstract: The radio frequency resource is shared between the first device and at least one second device connected to a second radio access network. The first device first obtains information representative of a usage of the radio frequency resource by the second device. Then, it obtains a threshold value of a collision rate acceptable for the second device. It determines a value representative of an estimated collision rate as experienced by the second device for at least one frequency resource allocation of the first device from the obtained information representative of the usage of said radio frequency resource by said second device. Finally, the first device uses the at least one frequency resource allocation for the first device in the case where the determined value is below the obtained threshold value.

  • Patent number: 11652542
Abstract: The invention relates to inserting reference signals in a radio signal to be transmitted over a wireless communication system, the radio signal being emitted according to a specific SS-STBC scheme, the method comprising, inserting the reference signals to transmit them in the radio signal such as samples of these reference signals are in specific positions in the SS-STBC symbol.

  • Publication number: 20230037615
Abstract: Examples include a method to communicate between a first and a second synchronized mobile devices, the method comprising sensing a plurality of preconfigured radio resources and identifying for each sensed preconfigured radio resource, whether it is occupied. The method also comprises receiving an indication of future occupied preconfigured radio resource utilization by further mobile devices in the spatial domain, and selecting a specific pre-configured radio resource reducing or preventing communication collisions in the spatial domain. The method further comprises the first and the second mobile devices communicating using the selected specific preconfigured radio resource.

  • Publication number: 20220141053
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transmitting at least K reference signals in a radio signal to be transmitted over a wireless communication system, said radio signal being intended to be emitted by an emitter comprising at least a transmit antenna configured for emitting on a number M of subcarriers S1, . . . , SM amongst which at least a number K of different subcarriers Sq+1, Sq+2, . . . , Sq+K are contiguous, the respective frequencies of the contiguous subcarriers Sq+1, Sq+2, . . . , Sq+K being ordered, said radio signal being provided by: inserting the at least K reference signals P1, . . . , PK so that the at least K reference signals P1, . . . , PK are respectively transmitted on the K contiguous subcarriers Sq+1, Sq+2, . . . , Sq+K; emitting the radio signal including the at least K reference signals.

  • Patent number: 11012277
Abstract: The invention relates to inserting a first and a second Reference Signals in a radio signal to be transmitted over a wireless communication system, the radio signal being emitted according to a specific SC-SFBC scheme, the method comprising: determining K integers such as { n i | i ? ? 1 ; K ? , 0 ? n i ? M 2 - 1 , ? i , j ? ? 1 ; K ? 2 , i < j ? n i < n j } ; and for each pair i of first and second Reference Signals: inserting the first Reference Signal in the radio signal, such as samples of the first Reference Signal are in time periods in the radio signal, said time periods being dependent on a first position in the block of symbols processed by the specific SC-SFBC scheme; inserting the second Reference Signal in the radio signal, such as samples of the second Reference Signal are in time periods in the radio signal, said time periods being dependent on a specific position according to the first position in the same block of symbols.
