  • Patent number: 5049094
Abstract: The fixing device for fixing onto a symmetrical rail comprises a fastening piece and a blade spring. The fastening piece includes a body having first and second hooks, with a third hook between them. The fastening piece also includes a rod connected to the body by a connection zone including a tooth. The blade spring has a longitudinal slot, a first bridge at one end of a curved part and a second bridge at an arched end of the blade spring; these bridges cooperate with the tooth and the third hook to fix the blade spring. The fastening piece is fixed to a case having an earthing terminal fixed to the rod on the fastening piece thereby providing an earth connection for the rail.

  • Patent number: 4846722
Abstract: An arrangement allows the end of an electrical conductor (2) to be secured by clamping by a spring leaf (9) against a conductive connecting wall (6) in a compartment of a case of insulating material into which the end of the conductor is inserted. Arrangement includes at least one pushable member (10) for compressing the spring leaf, which penetrates the compartment in which the leaf is located and which is maneuverable from the outside of the case between two positions, one in which the spring leaf is relaxed and allows the end of a conductor to be freely inserted, the other in which the spring leaf is flexed by the urging of the pushing member and bears against the connecting wall.

  • Patent number: 4830627
Abstract: At least one terminal is provided comprising a screw (3) for securing wires and/or wire terminal lugs between a conducting wall of a connecting link (2) and a clamping plate (4) both traversed by the screw which also pulls together. Terminal is lodged in an insulating case (1) and comprises a screw retainer (1B4, 1B5) molded with the case and arranged to both guide the screw in its longitudinal travel between an open position in which the screw, the connecting link and the clamping plate leave open a passage from a wire ring-tongue terminal and a blocking position in which the clamping plate and the connecting link are brought together and retract the screw into an open position into the retainer by the latter's pressure against the bottom of the screw head.
