    Abstract: A knee brace comprises a thigh-piece (1) and a legging (2) capable of pivoting between an extended position and a bent position, together with springs (Pg) stretched over the sides of the brace between anchor elements (10 and 20) fixed to the thigh-piece and the legging in order to urge the thigh-piece and the legging to pivot relative to each other towards at least one of said positions without impeding the movement thereof.
