    Abstract: A fastening device comprises a central core which, in use, is fixed together with an instrument and from which there extend claws equipped with a fastening mechanism for fastening the core onto the peripheral surface of a head. The claws, at least in one direction, leave free access to diametrically opposed portions of the head to enable driving of the head. The fastening mechanism is designed to interact with any region whatsoever of the peripheral side surfaces of the head.
