Abstract: A system for controlling the pitch setting of a propeller blade for an aircraft turbine engine, includes a blade having a vane connected to a root. A hub accommodates the root of the blade, and a ring is mounted around the root and in the hub. Stops are also mounted around the root and in the hub. A nut is threadedly engaged with a thread of the ring and is configured to bear axially against the hub to secure the assembly.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for assigning radar recurrences to radials to be displayed.A converter has means receiving an antenna rotation signal (68 ) and a radar synchronization signal (SY.sub.R), and groups incident recurrences in radials to be displayed as follows:memorization of the incident radials at the rate of their arrival in one of the memories of a group of three with, as the case may be, grouping of the incident recurrence with the already memorized recurrence, with the number of memory being written in getting incremented by one unit at the first blip SY.sub.R following the reception of a blip .epsilon.; andreading of a memory during the reception of a blip .epsilon. in order to constitute a radial, the number of the memory to be read being obtained by deducting 1 from the number of memory being written in at this moment.

Abstract: The object of the invention is a device to display several radar images in a single resultant image, formed by a mosaic image of different radar images. To this effect, the invention provides for the use of means for mutual exclusion of the radar images so that a given point of the resultant image corresponds to the display on one and only one radar.

Abstract: The object of the invention is a method and implementation means for the on-line testing of a radar information display device such as an image digital converter. The method essentially consists, firstly, in determining zones where there is no echo for a given antenna rotation then, secondly, the speeds of the displayed objects being known, in determining a second zone where there will definitely be no echo in the next rotation. In a third step, a test sequence is inserted in the second zone; at output of the function being tested, the pieces of data corresponding to the sequence, are, firstly, recorded and, secondly, blacked out for non-transmission to the rest of the chain. The recorded output sequence is then compared with the expected theoretical result, and from this comparison a piece of information on proper functioning or malfunctioning is deduced.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method for smoothing, through filling, an image generated by the conversion of polar coordinates into Cartesian coordinates. A filling of these pixels not involved in the conversion is performed at the level of the signal received in polar coordinates. Artificial radials are created between the effective radials supplied in polar coordinates and the artificial radials have attributed a non-zero video signal, as a function of the video signals of the adjacent effective radials. These artificial radials are thereafter converted into Cartesian coordinates and fill the pixels otherwise not involved. The invention has application to the digital scan converted for radar display.

Abstract: A method and a device for extending the range of radar video data (recurrences) received at the radar pulse repetition frequency (PRF) which can be accented by a digital image converter (DIC) for processing a radar-type image. The frequency of the angular increments (.epsilon.) received for locating the angular position (.theta.) of the radar antenna with respect to a reference direction (north) is modified in order to make the angular increment frequency more nearly a function PRF, thereby guarding against any irregularity of the radar image or any defect of remanence.

Abstract: A method for optimizing the storage of video signals in a digital scan converter provided with an intermediate block memory provided between the radial memory and the image memory. In the block memory, the pixels to be displayed are grouped together in blocks, the blocks being transferred in parallel to the image memory when they are completely filled. The blocks of the block memory correspond to those of the image memory and can each be used several times during a single antenna revolution.

Abstract: The invention relates to portable barbecue apparatus of the kind in which the grill member is adjustable in height with respect to the hearth in order to regulate the cooking heat intensity, and has for its object a barbecue of simple, robust construction providing a double adjustment of the grill, in height and transversely, with respect to the hearth. The apparatus comprises essentially a stand member and a grill and a two-way adjustable slide coupling means for positioning the grill with respect to the hearth in two component directions, the coupling comprising two pairs of retaining jaws cooperating respectively with the stand and the grill, each pair of jaws corresponding to one of the component directions.Further features of the barbecue are that it can be used with a fireplace or a wood fire, and it is possible to carry the grill with the cooked food in one hand to serve at table.

Abstract: In a stepwise drive mechanism of the type comprising a pair of endless coying members, such as for example metal chains, which are formed of a magnetic or magnetizable material, with gripping elements mounted thereon and in which the conveying members are located parallel to one another with the gripping elements fixed temporarily to a plastic film in which receptacles are formed and traverse a machine for processing food and/or pharmaceutical products having different work stations positioned at intervals whose length is a multiple of the feed steps of the drive mechanism, a drive is provided for synchronously driving the conveying members. This drive includes drive wheels respectively located in contact with a corresponding conveying member or chain along a predetermined arc and a drive arrangement for intermittently rotating the drive wheels through an elementary angular displacement which corresponds to a feed step of the conveying members.
