  • Patent number: 11952933
Abstract: A thermostatic valve includes a housing having a fluid inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet, a flap that is movable between a closed position, in which the flap closes the first outlet, and an open position, in which the flap opens the first outlet. The valve also includes a thermostatic actuator with an actuating rod connected to the flap and a capsule containing a thermally expanding material, and a heating element. The capsule has an internal portion, which extends inside the housing so as to be immersed in the fluid flowing between the inlet and the second outlet of the housing, and an external portion, which extends outside the housing. The heating element is arranged outside the housing and outside the capsule in order to heat the external portion.

  • Publication number: 20220390969
Abstract: A thermostatic valve includes a hollow body, two openings opening into the body and being hydraulically connected by a pass section, and a shut-off component arranged partially in the pass section and having a thermostatic actuator, a return component, a valve capable of opening the first opening when actuated by the thermostatic actuator and of closing the first opening when returned by the return component. The thermostatic actuator includes a cylinder containing an expansion material and a stem defining an axial direction. A relative movement between the cylinder and the stem along the axial direction occurs under the action of the expansion material. The stem bears at an ends against an abutment element, which is movable under the action of movement component in the direction of the cylinder to allow the opening of the first opening when the temperature of the expansion material is below the threshold temperature.

  • Patent number: 11022011
Abstract: The invention relates to an oil sump (1) comprising a lower shell (2) intended for containing lubricating oil of an engine, in which a flow of oil, referred to as suction oil flow (I), is sucked up via a suction tube (44) to supply a lubricating circuit, and an oil flow, referred to as returning oil flow (II), falls into the oil sump (1). The oil sump (1) comprises an anti-emulsion plate (8) arranged located at the mouth of the suction tube (44) during a transitional period in which the temperature of the oil is lower than an optimal operating temperature.
