  • Patent number: 5625409
Abstract: A camera device comprises a first detector having opto-electronic sensors for enabling an entire image to be input simultaneously, and associated with an optical system of long focal length. A second detector is associated with an optical system that gives a large field of view, covering the field of the first detector and extending beyond it. The camera device also includes means for synchronizing the images taken by the two detectors and for recording them.

  • Patent number: 4694221
Abstract: A device for the restitution and/or analyzing (digitalizing) of color images on an image carrier, comprising a cathode ray tube with a line screen, an assembly of optical fibers fixed on the front face of the tube screen, a color mask in film form, fixed in front of the optical fibers assembly and carrying at least three lines of different colors, means of scanning the screen by the electron beam of the tube along different lines corresponding to the lines of the color mask; and means of relative displacement between the color mask and an image carrier situated in front of the mask, so that each line of the image is scanned by each of the beams produced by the scannings of the screen along the different lines of colors of the mask.

  • Patent number: 4686541
Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for the restitution of high-resolution images comprising a film-holder adapted to receive a flat film coated with a photosensitive material, a light source producing a light beam, a modulator on the path of the light beam and a device for scanning said film in successive lines by means of said beam, wherein it comprises removable means adapted to receive a reel delivering continuously wound film, means for driving the film out of the reel along a film supply plane, means for applying a portion of film on the film-holder, means for transversely cutting the film, means for driving the film from the film-holder along and evacuation plane, removable means for receiving the portions of exposed, cut out film evacuated from the film-holder. A high resolution image apparatus for web film in which the web is cut into planar portions for scanning. The web of film is cut into planar portions them scanned with a modulated beam.

  • Patent number: 4638370
Abstract: The carrier of the image to be analyzed is fixed on a transparent cradle shaped as a portion of cylinder; a light beam is sent back perpendicularly to the cradle by a mirror pivoting about an axis which blends with the axis of the cradle and which is moved with respect to said cradle in order to light up, successively, and line by line, the image elements of the image to be analyzed; the light beam after traversing the image carrier is sent back on to an optico-electrical device by means of an elliptical mirror, so as to return, without introducing any aberrations, the light issued from the different image elements of one line.

  • Patent number: 4267442
Abstract: An electron multiplier device comprises two superposed microchannel plates. At their common interface, the angle of the axis of the channels of the plates is on the order of from 25.degree. to 30.degree. so as to increase the number of optical reflections in the channels. The more reflections, the lower the optical feedback from the output of the multiplier. At least one of the plates comprises curved channels. The curvature of the channels is such that at the entrance and the exit of the multiplier the axis enclose a small angle of at the most 10.degree. with the normals to the faces of the plates.

  • Patent number: 4217489
Abstract: An electron multiplier which is formed by at least two microchannel plates which are arranged one above the other and which operate in the saturation mode. The second microchannel plate produces an output charge for each incident electron which depends on the electrical field in the vicinity of the input surface of said second plate. By suitable geometrical structure in the plate or by shaping the potential applied thereto, an electrical field is produced which varies from point to point on its input surface. The charge output thus contains information regarding the location of the incident electron.
