Said substituted amine is in accordance with the formula: ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are optionally substituted alkyl radicals or form with N an optionally substituted piperazine or piperidine cycle, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 represent a hydrogen atom or an organic radical, Y represents CR.sup.6 or N and R.sup.5 is an optionally substituted benzothiophenyl, benzofuranyl or naphthyl radical.These amines can be used in pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of nervous depression or for stimulating vigilance.
