  • Patent number: 4639697
Abstract: A surface acoustic wave (SAW) device provides a phase shift and a first predetermined phase shift variation as a function of temperature. A passive network including a passive, reactive component is thermally and electrically coupled to the SAW device. An electrical characteristic of the component has a predetermined variation as a function of the temperature of the reactive component which provides the network with a second, predetermined phase variation as a function of temperature to compensate for the first predetermined phase variation as a function of temperature provided from the surface acoustic wave device. With this arrangement, the phase shift provided from the surface acoustic wave device is substantially invariant with temperature.

  • Patent number: 4437068
Abstract: The demodulator comprises two parallel channels which have in each channel:two transverse parallel filters whose weighting coefficients are cos (.omega.p.tau.) and sin (.omega.p.tau.) with for one channel .omega.=.omega..sub.Z =2.pi.F.sub.Z, and for the other channel .omega.=.omega..sub.A =2.pi.F.sub.A ; anda device ensuring the squaring of the signal from each filter.

  • Patent number: 4356463
Abstract: Two analog filters of the second order are arranged in series with a transverse charge transfer filter upstream and downstream of the latter. The analog filters are switched capacitor filters having an amplifier and a network of capacitors and MOS transistors. The filtering device is entirely integrated onto the same semiconductor substrate.

  • Patent number: 4288528
Abstract: An improved process for forming an embossed pattern through the use of a writing concentrated beam opening holes in a film capable of undergoing residue free evaporation. A layer of photoresist is overlayed with the film and upon being exposed and processed the layer supplies the prospective embossed pattern.

  • Patent number: 4257019
Abstract: As all the weighting coefficients of the filter are positive, a weighted charge quantity is collected by a line beneath one of the elementary electrodes of each weighting electrode. A charge reading device is coupled to the line and supplies an electrical signal which is transmitted to the negative input of a differential amplifier, which receives the sampled input voltage of the filter at its positive input. The electrical output signal of the filter is taken, under low impedance, at the output of the differential amplifier, said signal being reinjected at the input of the filter by the injecting means.

  • Patent number: 4148016
Abstract: The invention relates to ramp generators by which it is possible to obtain an electrical voltage which represents a ramp of a required form in dependence upon a given parameter. The invention comprises using a charge transfer device in which the charge transferred is measured in dependence upon a parameter associated with the weighting of the electrodes of the device. This weighting is fixed according to the required form of the ramp.
