    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for the projection of refractory and other material for the relining and repair of a metallurgical plant, particularly converters. The apparatus comprises an articulated arm capable of pivoting on its base and supporting a lance carrier in which a telescopic, retractable lance is mounted. The lance carrier is articulated on an arm acting in the manner of a scissor, the movement of which is effected by two jacks.
