  • Patent number: 6200281
Abstract: A massaging device which is designed to be applied to the skin of a person, and comprises an outer hollow case (1) which delimits a main suction chamber, the lower edge of which delimits an open surface for application on the skin, and elements for connecting the outer case (1) to a suction source. According to the invention, this massaging device comprises at least one inner case (20), which is disposed in the main suction chamber, which delimits a secondary suction chamber, and has a lower edge which delimits an open surface for application on the skin, elements (4,5,6) for displacement of the inner case (20) relative to the outer case (1), according to motion which is substantially parallel to the plane of the open surface for application of the outer case to the skin, and elements (23) for connection of the inner case (20) to a suction source.

  • Patent number: 6090055
Abstract: A massaging device comprising a hollow case (1) which delimits a sealed suction chamber during application of the case on the skin, and a connection of this case (1) to a suction source. This massaging device comprises two parallel inner rollers (12, 13), which are accommodated entirely inside the suction chamber, and are designed to form a fold on the skin, and to roll this fold when the case (1) is displaced, and two outer rollers (16, 17), which are parallel to the inner rollers (12, 13), and are disposed to the exterior of the case (1), such as to withstand at least part of the sliding force of the case.

  • Patent number: 5769798
Abstract: A massage apparatus includes a motor driving in rotation a drive shaft and a massage head. Supports for the massage head are adapted to allow axial movement and angular displacement of the massage head relative to the drive shaft. Furthermore, the radial and axial supports are fitted so as to actuate the massage head towards a stable equilibrium position and to permit axial movement and angular displacements of the massage head from the equilibrium position.

  • Patent number: 5052377
Abstract: An apparatus for massaging parts of the body by sequential cyclic pressure for assuring a lymphatic drainage, the apparatus comprising means for cyclic distribution of an inflating fluid through a conduit (2) and means for cyclic distribution of a control fluid through a conduit (3) to a treatment accessory comprising a plurality of juxtaposed inflatable cells, such as a massaging boot (1), the inflating conduit (2) being connected to each cell in the treatment accessory through distributors (4) receiving the control fluid, each distributor comprises a movable obturating member such as a membrane arranged in such a manner as to permit the passage of the inflating fluid in a downstream direction when the local inflating pressure reaches a value which is a function of the pressure of the control fluid, the cells of the accessory being inflated in series, one after another, and then deflated, in a cyclic manner.
