  • Patent number: 10697324
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a superalloy part including a first portion including a majority by weight of a first superalloy and a second portion including a majority by weight of a second superalloy, the second portion extending from the first portion, the method including depositing the second portion on the first portion by a direct metal deposition method, deposition of the second portion including depositing a first layer, then depositing a second layer on the first layer, the first layer including the first and second superalloys, the first layer presenting a content by weight of the first superalloy that is strictly greater than that content by weight of the second layer and strictly less than that content by weight of the first portion, the second layer presenting a content by weight of the second superalloy that is strictly greater than that content by weight of the first layer.

  • Publication number: 20170321303
Abstract: A method of fabricating a sintered three-dimensional part, the method including: preparing an injection composition including a binder and a powder of a titanium-based alloy including aluminum and/or chromium; injecting the composition into a cavity of a mold to obtain a blank; eliminating the binder present in the blank; a first step of sintering the powder, the powder subjected to a first pressure higher than or equal to 1 mbar to obtain a preform of the part; and a second sintering step during which a second pressure, which is lower than the first pressure, is imposed, the duration for which the second pressure is applied being selected so that the content by weight of aluminum and/or chromium in a layer having a thickness of 200 ?m situated at the surface of the preform does not vary by more than 5% in relative value due to the second sintering step.

  • Patent number: 9731373
Abstract: A method for hard surface deposition on aluminum metal parts of a turbine engine using MIG welding equipment which includes a pulsed current generator and pulsed filler metal wire feed, wherein the deposition is achieved using a filler metal wire whose composition is of the same nature as the composition of the aluminum alloy of the part to undergo hard surface deposition, with the pulsed metal wire feed and speed of deposition on the metal part of the turbine engine being adapted to carry out deposition without hot fissuring.

  • Publication number: 20150251281
Abstract: A method for resurfacing at least one arm of an intermediate casing of a turbomachine, such as a turbojet engine or a turboprop engine of an aircraft, including striking off at least one end of the arm to be resurfaced, resurfacing the struck-off end of the arm by adding filler metal using a short-circuit transfer MIG welding method, also called CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) method, machining the resurfaced portion of the arm so as to provide it with the required geometry.

  • Publication number: 20140103015
Abstract: An installation for fabricating a part by selectively melting powder, the installation including a mechanism producing a beam, for example a laser beam or an electron beam, and a mechanism moving a point of impact of the beam over a layer of powder. The installation further includes a collector element for collecting projections of molten powder produced during local melting of the powder by the beam, the collector element including an opening for passing the beam, and a mechanism configured to move the collector element jointly with the beam over the layer of powder.
