  • Publication number: 20230341035
Abstract: A drivetrain for connection between the output of a prime mover and a load is described herein. The drivetrain comprising a CVT including an input connected to the output of the prime mover and an output; a forward-reverse clutch assembly including first and second inputs and an output connectable to the load; the first input of the forward-reverse clutch assembly being connected to the output of the CVT through a CVT clutch. The drivetrain also includes an IVT gear assembly having a first input connected to the output of the prime mover, a second input connected to the output of the CVT and an output connected to the second input of the forward reverse clutch assembly through an IVT clutch; and an idler gear assembly interconnecting the first and second inputs of the forward-reverse clutch assembly.

  • Patent number: 11739802
Abstract: Clutch temperature management in a slip control method and arrangement for a drivetrain including a continuously variable transmission is described herein. The drivetrain includes a clutch that is so controlled as to slip when a torque higher than the usable torque attempts to pass through. The temperature data from the clutch is used to determine the usable torque. Accordingly, the clutch prevents the prime mover from stalling.

  • Patent number: 10928910
Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods of providing haptic feedback based on media content and one or more external parameters used to customize the haptic feedback. The system may modify or otherwise alter haptic feedback that is determined using the media content alone. In other words, the system may use both the media content and the external parameters to determine haptic feedback that should be output to the user or others. The external parameters may include, for example, sensor information, customization information, and/or other external parameters that may be used to customize the haptic feedback.
